A very warm welcome to the website of the Rotary Club of Heidelberg.
Our club has been proudly serving Heidelberg and surrounding communities since December 1956. Our great club celebrated its 60th birthday in 2016. As Rotarians we will work to address various community and international service needs and to promote peace and understanding throughout the world.
It would give us pleasure if you could take a few minutes to explore our website and get to know more about this Club and about Rotary.
International Projects
The Rotary Club of Heidelberg is involved in many overseas projects. We were part of a Rotary Australia World Community Service (RAWCS) Team working in the Solomon Islands. The project involved constructing a malaria monitoring station at the end of Guadalcanal.
Fellowship
Like in any club, fellowship is an important factor of a well run club. We pride ourselves that we are able to not only work together on projects but enjoy each others company socially. We plan many events during the year.
Community Projects
The club is regularly involved in the annual Olivia Newton-John Wellness Walk which this year was on September 17th 2017. This year we helped out with the BBQ which took over $1000, all of which went to the ONJ Centre.
